This is “Mandala Citrus Sensation” 48×48″, oil/canvas, c2017 Ken Delmar, one of the new works viewable at my home art show at 31 Gurley Road, Stamford, CT 06902 on Saturday, September 9, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, rain or shine. If you follow or visit my website you are invited. I have built 12 large display easels and will set them up in my back yard if weather permits. As of today, the forecast is for a beautiful day and 72 degrees. My last eight paintings have been these mandalas made up of figures. I started with 12 figures, and am now up to 72. These paintings are quite different from the loose semi-abstract things I have been doing. These mandalas, especially as they get more complex, take WAY longer to paint and require a much steadier hand. The mandalas are not painted on paper towels, but on linen, and up to eight feet square. But I still paint on paper towels, in oil, and there will be quite a few of those works in the show, and priced, unframed, for under $100. Once I become famous, these will be worth a fortune!
